Customer story · FinTech
Smartera: a FinTech transaction workload, inside Türkiye and low-latency.
The SmartyFIN and Smarty360 platforms moved to PortvMind Cloud for data-residency and regulatory-compliance requirements; the container-based architecture runs on VKE, and the backup and disaster-recovery layer is defined with an SLA.

Story
From problem to architecture
01
Customer
Smartera Teknoloji was founded to combine long process experience in business applications with new software technology and give companies faster, more flexible solutions. Its SmartyFIN and Smarty360 platforms are high-volume FinTech applications that handle thousands of loan, customer and dealer-network operations within seconds.
02
Sector and workload profile
The workload is a transactional FinTech application processing thousands of loan and transaction records every day. Because second-level response times matter across dealer networks and customer operations, low latency, data integrity and full regulatory compliance are required at the same time.
03
Problem
Four requirements forced a rebuild of the existing infrastructure: keeping data within the borders of Türkiye, compliance with KVKK and ISO 27001, scaling workloads instantly with demand, and an infrastructure that could keep up with the pace of product innovation.
04
Architecture
Smartera chose PortvMind Cloud for these requirements. Applications moved to a distributed, container-based infrastructure; new releases are rolled out through managed Kubernetes (VKE). Setup, scaling and monitoring flows were standardised through the self-service console.
Backup and disaster-recovery (DR/BC) solutions were put in place; monitoring, capacity planning and support are defined with SLAs under 24/7 managed services. Billing moved to pay-as-you-go. The migration completed without interrupting product development.
05
Measurement
The outcomes stand out qualitatively: dealer networks running without interruption as latency fell, easier internal audits for regulatory compliance, an IT team able to focus on product innovation rather than infrastructure, per-minute cost visibility, and higher operational resilience through the DR/BC architecture.
